Beschreibung

Cinerin II is a pyrethrum extract that contains nitro compounds. The natural product has been shown to be an effective insecticide in the laboratory, as well as in the field. It has also been found to be a potential chemical agent for use against ticks and mosquitoes. Cinerin II can be prepared by chemical ionization or chromatographic methods, and it is effective when used at low doses. This compound can be used as a model system to study the effects of other chemicals on mitochondrial membrane potential.
