Beschreibung:
N-Cyclohexyl-L-phenylalaninamide is a synthetic amino acid that contains nitrogen atoms. It has been shown to have antibiotic activity against bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae. N-Cyclohexyl-L-phenylalaninamide also inhibits the serine protease activity of serine proteinase inhibitor, which is an enzyme that destroys many proteins in the body. This drug has also been found to be effective in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease as it prevents β-amino acid aggregation and stabilizes β-sheet structure of amyloid precursor protein.
