Beschreibung:
1-Chloroethylcyclohexyl carbonate is a cilexetil prodrug that has been shown to have antitumor activity in vivo. It is metabolized by hydrolysis of the ester linkage to form cyclohexanol and 1-chloroethanol. The reaction yield, validation, and growth rate are all dependent on the concentration of the reactants. The low bioavailability and human liver metabolism make it difficult to produce 1-chloroethylcyclohexyl carbonate as a drug substance for pharmaceutical use.
