Beschreibung

Cyclohexyl isocyanide is an inhibitor of bacterial growth and belongs to the class of pyridines. It has an inhibitory effect on P. aeruginosa at concentrations below 10 μM. This compound can be used as a dietary supplement for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and C. Cyclohexyl isocyanide also inhibits the production of nitric oxide by inhibiting the enzyme nitric oxide synthase, leading to a reduction in inflammation and tissue damage in animal models. Cyclohexyl isocyanide has been shown to have a chelate ring, which binds free radicals and prevents oxidative damage to cells. This compound also has 2-benzoylbenzoic acid groups that provide anti-inflammatory effects by blocking prostaglandin synthesis.
