Beschreibung

Cyclo(L-Ala-L-Ser) is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the antigen. It is a piperazinedione, which is inactivated by denaturing agents and prenylated by host cells. Cyclo(L-Ala-L-Ser) has been shown to cause cellular uptake through diphosphate linkage and immunocytochemical staining of the antigen. This antibody can be used for the detection of low concentrations of adriamycin, which are not detected by other techniques such as radioimmunoassay or enzyme immunoassay. The binding affinity of Cyclo(L-Ala-L-Ser) for the antigen is greater than that of any other monoclonal antibody known to date. Cyclo(L-Ala-L-Ser) has been shown to have low cytotoxicity in human cells at doses lower than those required for other antibodies.
