• Beschreibung: Cyclo(L-Ser-L-Ser) is a labile supramolecular polymer that absorbs light and undergoes photopolymerization. It has been shown to form a lamellar structure in the solid state, as well as in methanol as a solvent. Cyclo(L-Ser-L-Ser) also exhibits thermochromism, with an increase in fluorescence intensity from 355 nm to 475 nm when heated from 20 °C to 40 °C. The molecule has been modeled using Molecular Dynamic simulations and the vibrational spectra of the molecule have been observed by microscopy.
