Beschreibung

4-(4-Chlorophenyl)-5-methyl-1H-imidazole is a fatty acid derivative and a pharmaceutical preparation. It has been shown to be effective in the diagnosis of congestive heart failure, as well as in the treatment of diabetic patients with cardiac problems. 4-(4-Chlorophenyl)-5-methyl-1H-imidazole has been found to be an inhibitor of serotonin reuptake and a growth factor for cardiac cells. This drug also acts as a weak antagonist at the alpha 1A adrenergic receptor.
