Beschreibung:
Chloromethyl p-tolyl sulfide is a reactive, organic chemical substance that is used as a reagent in the preparation of other chemicals. It can be produced by chlorination of toluene or benzene and reacts with sulfides to prepare sulfoxides. Chloromethyl p-tolyl sulfide is soluble in methylene chloride, but insoluble in water. The chemical has a colorless to light yellow liquid appearance and an odor described as "musty."
