Produktinformation
Cefaclor impurity C is a chemical substance that is produced as an impurity in the synthesis of cefaclor. It inhibits bacterial growth by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. The molecular pathogenesis of infectious diseases are mainly due to the reaction of infectious agents with host cells, and their pathogenic mechanism is related to the modification of host cell structures and functions. The human serum contains a number of antimicrobial agents such as antibodies, complement proteins, and phagocytic cells that are capable of fighting against pathogens. Cefaclor impurity C can be used for wastewater treatment because it can bind to organic matter in water, forming a precipitate that settles out. This substance has been shown to have antibacterial activity against Streptococcus pyogenes and Escherichia coli.
