Beschreibung

Dimedone is a chemical compound that is a white solid that is soluble in water. It reacts with amines to form acid and is used as an analytical reagent in the determination of amines. Dimedone has been shown to react with metal ions, such as sodium and potassium, to form metal chelates. It also has antimicrobial properties, inhibiting the growth of bacteria by binding to cell membranes and disrupting their function.
