Produktinformation
- 1,2-Difluoro-4-Isocyanatobenzene
3,4-Difluorophenyl isocyanate (DFI) is a selective inhibitor of the channel protein TRPV1. It binds to the channel and prevents it from opening, thereby inhibiting the flow of sodium ions through the channel. DFI has been shown to inhibit pain in animal models of inflammatory and neuropathic pain. The structural modifications have been optimized by iterative screens to enhance selectivity for TRPV1 channels. The pharmacology of DFI has been studied in animal models and suggests that this molecule may be useful for treating chronic pain caused by inflammation or nerve injury.
