Beschreibung

1-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)-6-fluoro-7-(3-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-4 (DFFPPM) is a synthetic compound that belongs to the class of antimicrobial agents. It inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. DFFPPM has been shown to have high activity against resistant mutants and is effective in treating infectious diseases caused by gram-positive species. This drug has been shown to have inhibitory properties against dna synthesis and protein synthesis, as well as toxicological studies. DFFPPM also has an effect on locomotor activity and can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, insomnia, confusion and hallucinations. These side effects are similar to those found with ciprofloxacin.
