Beschreibung

(Des-Gly10,D-Arg6,Pro-NHEt 9)-LHRH (salmon) acetate salt is an analog of LHRH (luteinizing hormone releasing hormone). It enhances the absorption of cycloheximide, a drug that inhibits protein synthesis. In vitro studies have shown that this analogue is more potent than LHRH in stimulating ovarian follicle growth and ovulation. This compound has been used to treat fertility problems in fish. The analogue has also been shown to be effective for treating human infertility disorders by increasing responsiveness to human chorionic gonadotropin and providing increased dopamine levels.
