Beschreibung

2-(1,3-Dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)-3-phenylpropanoic acid is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme protein kinase C (PKC). It has been shown to inhibit PKC in a stereoselective manner. 2-(1,3-Dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)-3-phenylpropanoic acid has been shown to be highly efficient in its reactivity and can be used for the synthesis of complex molecules. The molecule was synthesized using reductive elimination and is characterized by having a chiral center, which makes it a valuable tool for research on stereoselective reactions. This compound is also scalable and can be used in large quantities due to its radiation resistance.
