Beschreibung

Diisopropylethylaminetrihydrofluoride is a hydrogen fluoride acid molecule that is used as an organic solvent. It has a high density and is soluble in water, alcohols, ethers, and hydrocarbons. Diisopropylethylaminetrihydrofluoride is used to remove triazoles from their reaction mixtures. It also has been shown to have the ability to lower cholesterol levels in humans. This drug may be effective against heart disease due to the fact that it inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, the enzyme that converts 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG CoA) into mevalonic acid. Diisopropylethylaminetrihydrofluoride may be used for the treatment of coronary heart disease because it can dissolve lipids and inhibit amide activity.
