Beschreibung

3-(2,2-Dibromovinyl)-2,2-dimethyl-(1-cyclopropane)carboxylic acid is a cyclohexane carboxylic acid with a cyclopropane ring. It is an immunosuppressive agent that binds to cytosolic calcium and inhibits energy metabolism. 3-(2,2-Dibromovinyl)-2,2-dimethyl-(1-cyclopropane)carboxylic acid has been shown to be effective in the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis and psoriasis. The mechanism of action of 3-(2,2-Dibromovinyl)-2,2-dimethyl-(1-cyclopropane)carboxylic acid is due to its ability to inhibit antigen presentation by T cells. This drug also blocks activation of T cells and reduces antibody production by B cells.
