Beschreibung

Di-p-tolyl ether is an organic compound that is used in cross-coupling reactions. It can be used to methylate ferrocene, which is a highly reactive molecule. Di-p-tolyl ether is also used for irreversible inhibition of hydrophobic enzymes and solutes in nutrient solution. In addition, it can be used to enhance the rate of a reaction by activating a copper complex. The activation energies for these reactions are different, and their rates are enhanced at different points in the reaction.END>
