Dipentaerythritol hexakis(3-mercaptopropionate) is a high-molecular weight, functional group containing compound that is used as a photopolymerizable cross-linking agent. It has been shown to form a film with good adhesion and mechanical properties. Dipentaerythritol hexakis(3-mercaptopropionate) is used in coatings and polymerization initiators for polymers, such as alkanolamines and monomers.
