• Beschreibung: Deoxy artemisinin is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the active site of the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase and prevents the synthesis of purines and pyrimidines. It has been shown to be effective against many types of infectious diseases, including malaria, in humans and animals. Deoxy artemisinin has significant cytotoxicity against HL-60 cells and K562 cells. In addition, it lyses cells by disrupting mitochondrial membrane potential. Deoxy artemisinin is a natural drug with biochemical properties that can inhibit growth of murine hepatoma cells in culture.
