• Beschreibung: 8-Desmethoxy-8-fluoro moxifloxacin is a photolytic drug that is used to treat bacterial infections. It has a high degree of antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus, including methicillin resistant strains of Staphylococcus epidermidis. 8-Desmethoxy-8-fluoro moxifloxacin hydrochloride is produced by the addition of hydrochloric acid to moxifloxacin, which is then purified by ion chromatography. The compound has been shown to have good stability in human plasma and urine. It also shows excellent recoveries in acetonitrile and quantification results in flow rates.
