Beschreibung:E,E-Dienestrol is a synthetic estrogen that has been shown to have anticarcinogenic properties. It has been found to inhibit the production of rat liver microsomes that are involved in the development of liver cancer. E,E-Dienestrol also has antiinfectious properties and is used as an antimicrobial agent for treating infectious diseases. The mechanism of action for its antimicrobial activity is not fully understood, but it may be due to an alteration in surfactant properties and the formation of a complex with bacterial dienestrol, which is produced by bacteria. The fluorescence detector can be used to measure the amount of E,E-dienestrol in a sample by detecting its fluorescence emission at 605 nm.
