Produktinformation

- 3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde
- 3,5-Dimethylpyrrole-2-Carbaldehyde
3,5-Dimethylpyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde is a molecule that has been shown to bind to the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) and inhibit its activity. This inhibition prevents the RTK from activating downstream pathways that promote cell proliferation. 3,5-Dimethylpyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde can also be used for the treatment of renal cell carcinomas, pancreatic stromal tumours, and neuroendocrine tumours. It has been shown to inhibit DNA synthesis in cultured cells. 3,5-Dimethylpyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde is activated by metal ions such as copper or iron to form a reactive radical species which reacts with oxygen to form superoxide radicals that are cytotoxic.
