Beschreibung

(S)-5,5-Diphenyl-2-methyl-3,4-propano-1,3,2-oxazaborolidine is an interesting molecule with a variety of uses. It can be used to synthesize luliconazole in the Friedel-Crafts acylation reaction and has shown growth inhibitory activity against a wide range of bacteria. This compound has been used as a substrate molecule for reductive chlorination to obtain chloride and reduction products. In addition, (S)-5,5-diphenyl-2-methyl-3,4-propano-1,3,2 oxazaborolidine has also been used for the synthesis of cyanosilylation reactions or liquid phase cross coupling reactions.
