Beschreibung

2,4-Dimethylaniline is an organic compound that has a chiral center. It is an aromatic amine that can undergo oxidation to produce 2-methylaniline. It is used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of various pharmaceuticals and dyes. 2,4-Dimethylaniline undergoes irreversible oxidation when subjected to heating or ultraviolet light to produce 2-methylaniline.
