Beschreibung:Disperse Blue 366 is a hydrophobic, particle-forming dye that is used in the optimization of surface methodology for cytotoxic effect. Disperse Blue 366 has a particle size of about 10 nm and an intense blue color. It is soluble in organic solvents but insoluble in water. The film-forming polymer, which can be polystyrene or polypropylene, absorbs Disperse Blue 366 and forms a thin film on the surface to which it has been applied. This film has a low energy and is supercritical, leading to cytotoxic effects.
