Beschreibung

Diethyl 2,2,3,3,4,4-hexafluoropentanedioate is a non-volatile liquid with a boiling point of 357.5°C. It is used as a cross-linking agent in organic solutions and as an immunoassay diagnostic reagent. It is also used to create microspheres for use in the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Diethyl 2,2,3,3,4,4-hexafluoropentanedioate has been shown to inhibit the production of various cytokines and chemokines by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes.
