Beschreibung

27-Deoxyactein is a natural flavonoid with potent antioxidant activity. It has been shown to protect cells against oxidative injury by scavenging ROS and regulating the mitochondrial membrane potential. 27-Deoxyactein has been found in high concentration in cimicifuga foetida, a plant used in traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and energy metabolism. The pharmacokinetic properties of 27-deoxyactein have been studied using 3T3-L1 preadipocytes as an in vitro model. This method was able to detect intracellular targets such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA). The LC-MS/MS method was used for both quantification and confirmation.
