Beschreibung

7,3-Dihydroxyflavone is a flavonoid that is effective against fungal infections. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of fungi in vitro and in vivo. 7,3-Dihydroxyflavone has been shown to reduce the levels of natriuretic peptide in 3t3-l1 preadipocytes and human serum. This compound also inhibits the activity of cytochrome P450 enzymes by binding to their heme component. 7,3-Dihydroxyflavone has a low molecular weight and may be more stable than other flavonoids. In addition, this compound has been shown to have biological properties, such as anti-inflammatory effects on hl-60 cells, which are related to collagen production. 7,3-Dihydroxyflavone also inhibits the disease activity of colitis in mice by reducing colonic inflammation and fibrosis.
