2,6-Dibromohydroquinone is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of hydroquinones. It has been shown to have antioxidant properties and can be used as a reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenger. 2,6-dibromohydroquinone has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on drug reactions in humans and rats, which may be due to its ability to bind with reactive molecules such as ROS.
