Beschreibung

4,5-Difluorophthalic anhydride is a halide that reacts with a variety of other compounds to form new substances. It can be used in the production of decarboxylated 4,5-difluorophthalic acid. 4,5-Difluorophthalic anhydride has been used as a chemical ionization agent in gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. The higher yield and reactivity of this compound makes it useful for producing high purity products and for use in industrial processes. The reactive nature of 4,5-difluorophthalic anhydride also makes it useful for synthesizing other types of fluorinated compounds, such as fluoroquinolones. This halide is also used as a reactant in the manufacturing process for copper oxide catalysts and thermally activated fluorescent dyes.
