3,4-Difluorobenzamide is a substance that inhibits the growth of epidermal cells. It binds to receptors on the surface of epidermal cells and blocks the binding of epidermal growth factor (EGF). 3,4-Difluorobenzamide has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of human skin cancer cells in tissue culture. The detection sensitivity of this substance was found to be 0.05 μg/ml in wastewater treatment. This substance can be used for the treatment of certain types of cancer, as well as for weight loss.
