Produktinformation
2-Deoxy-2-fluoro-3-O-methylglucose is a glucose analog that is used in biodistribution studies. It is taken up by cells, and then phosphorylated to 2-deoxyglucose 6 phosphate (2DOG6P) by hexokinase. The 2DOG6P inhibits glycolysis, which leads to increased uptake of glucose through the insulin receptor. This effect can be seen in rats with a chest injection of 2DOG6P.
