Beschreibung

Ethyl isothiocyanate - crude is a liquid at room temperature. It has been shown to have inhibitory effects on the growth of lung fibroblasts in an oil solution by binding to the carbon disulphide molecule, which contains a hydroxy group, and forms a complex with zinc diethyldithiocarbamate. The complex inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA in prostate cancer cells.
Ethyl isothiocyanate - crude has also been shown to be an effective treatment for cancer, but it can cause allergic reactions. This compound reacts with quinoline derivatives in a reaction solution to form an ethyl isothiocyanate-quinoline derivative complex that binds to DNA and prevents its replication.
