Beschreibung:
1-(Ethoxycarbonyl)proline is a chemical compound that is used in the synthesis of peptides. It is an ester of proline and diethyl malonate. The methyl group of 1-(ethoxycarbonyl)proline can be removed by hydrolysis to give glycine, which can be measured by UV-Vis spectroscopy in solutions with a pH range from 1 to 12.
