Beschreibung

Ethyl 1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylate is a benzene derivative that is an inhibitor of the tachykinin receptor. It has shown to be effective in animal models of trypanosomiasis and rhodesiense at low doses. This compound binds to the G protein coupled receptors TACR1 and TACR2 at nanomolar concentrations. The binding of this drug to the receptor inhibits cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) production, which leads to a decrease in cellular proliferation. Ethyl 1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylate has been shown to inhibit the expression of tachykinin in human liver cells by blocking transcription and translation. It also has anti-inflammatory effects due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
