Beschreibung

(-)-Epicatechin gallate is a natural compound that is found in green tea and cocoa. It belongs to the group of polyphenols, which are compounds that have antioxidant properties. (-)-Epicatechin gallate has been shown to be a good model system for studying the effects on nuclear DNA. This compound has been shown to inhibit multidrug efflux pump activity in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes. (-)-Epicatechin gallate has also been shown to have anti-cancer properties. It has been shown to prevent squamous cell carcinoma and matrix effect induced by carcinogens in experimental models. (-)-Epicatechin gallate has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and may be useful for blood pressure monitoring and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.br>br>Biological properties:
