Beschreibung

Ergocryptine is a drug that is used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases. It is an analog of ergocryptine and contains up to 10% ethyl acetate. Ergocryptine inhibits the production of various cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and reduces the infiltration of inflammatory cells into tissues. This drug has been shown to reduce restenosis rates in animal studies. Ergocryptine has also been shown to inhibit matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) activity and expression, which may contribute to its anti-inflammatory effects.
