• Beschreibung: Ethyl myristate is a fatty acid. It is the ester of myristic acid and ethanol. It is a colorless oil with a sweet odor that is soluble in organic solvents and insoluble in water. The control analysis of ethyl myristate was conducted by using solid phase microextraction with thermal expansion to measure the methyl esters of fatty acids, such as ethyl decanoate. This method was coupled with an lc-ms/ms technique to identify the presence of these compounds in liver cells. Ethyl myristate has been shown to be an absorption enhancer for glycol ethers, which may be due to its ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation reactions in human liver cells and induce the production of cytokines that regulate immune responses.
