Beschreibung

6-b-Ethyl sulfonyl sulfate-2-naphthalamine-1-sulfonic acid is a fluorescent dye that can be used as a viral vector. It has been shown to reversibly inhibit the proliferation of cells in culture and is specific to antigen. 6-b-Ethyl sulfonyl sulfate-2-naphthalamine-1-sulfonic acid also has the ability to penetrate through cell membranes, which makes it suitable for use in cancer diagnostics. The hydroxyl group on this molecule can be used for conjugation with other molecules such as peptides, proteins, and antibodies. 6bESSA can be synthesized using an organic solvent or by dry extraction from plants.
