Beschreibung

Ethyl (S)-4-chloro-3-hydroxybutyrate is a chiral compound that is synthesized by asymmetric synthesis. It is an inhibitor of the α subunit of bacterial RNA polymerase, which plays an important role in bacterial growth and replication. This chemical has shown high stability against hydrochloric acid and ethylene diamine, as well as enzyme activities. In addition, the formation rate for fatty acids was increased after treatment with Ethyl (S)-4-chloro-3-hydroxybutyrate.
