1-Ethyl-3-Methyl-1H-Imidazol-3-Ium Bis[(Pentafluoroethyl)Sulfonyl]Azanide is a ternary mixture of three compounds, bis(pentafluoroethyl)sulfonyl azanide (BPSFA), 1-Ethyl-3-methyl imidazole (EMI), and dioxolane. The photoelectron spectra of the compounds show that BPSFA absorbs UV light in the range from 200 to 400 nm. The phototransformation of this compound has been studied by impurities in organic solvents and photopolymerization. It has also been shown that this compound is soluble in organic solvents, such as dioxolane, which could be used for its extraction.
