Beschreibung:
[(2R,3S,5R)-5-(5-Fluoro-2,4-Dioxopyrimidin-1-Yl)-3-Hydroxyoxolan-2-Yl]Methyl Nitrate is a pyrimidine derivative that inhibits the synthesis of thymidylate. It has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on the L1210 mouse leukemia cell line and on cultures of lactobacillus. [(2R,3S,5R)-5-(5-Fluoro-2,4-Dioxopyrimidin-1-Yl)-3-Hydroxyoxolan-2-Yl]Methyl Nitrate also inhibits the activity of thymidylate synthetase in ascites cells.
