Produktinformation
4-Fluorodiphenylamine (4FDPA) is a reactive chemical that is a component of some dyes and pesticides, as well as a by-product of the production of 4-fluorophenol. It has been shown to inhibit the translation of proteins in bacteria and can be used to study the molecular mechanisms of protein synthesis. 4FDPA inhibits histone deacetylase, which has been linked to cancer. This molecule also binds to amines and adenosine receptors, which may lead to an increased risk for cancer. The chemical structure of 4FDPA contains both diarylamines and amines, giving it the potential for carcinogenicity.
