1-[Bis(4-Fluorophenyl)methyl]-4-[(2,3,4-trimethoxyphenyl)methyl]piperazine is a chemical compound that has been shown to be an autophagy inducer in human leukemia K562 cells. It is also known to increase the production of basic proteins and cytosolic calcium. This agent has been shown to have anti-migraine effects and may be used for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. 1-[Bis(4-Fluorophenyl)methyl]-4-[(2,3,4-trimethoxyphenyl)methyl]piperazine can be synthesized with the use of trifluoroacetic acid as a solvent. The synthesis requires a sample preparation step before it can be purified by recrystallization or column chromatography.
