Beschreibung:
2-(Formylamino)pyridine is a formyl amine that reacts with benzalkonium chloride, ethyl formate and amines to generate genotoxic effects. 2-(Formylamino)pyridine is found in animal experiments to be a potent carcinogen. It was shown to induce liver cancer in animals after chronic exposure. 2-(Formylamino)pyridine also has the potential to cause cancer in humans and can affect the cell cycle by inhibiting DNA synthesis.
