Beschreibung:4-Fluoro-L-histidine is a fluorinated analog of L-histidine that functions as an inhibitor of protein synthesis by the virus. 4-Fluoro-L-histidine was found to be more potent than L-histidine in inhibiting murine sarcoma virus (MSV) replication and cytopathogenicity in vitro. This molecule has been shown to be a pentadecapeptide, which is comprised of five amino acids. The conformational properties of 4FLH are similar to those of histidine, and it can act as a substrate for enzymes involved in protein synthesis. 4FLH is also available with a deuterium isotope effect, which may affect its biological activity.
