• Beschreibung: Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic corticosteroid that is used in the treatment of asthma. It is an esterified prodrug which requires hydrolysis by esterases in order to become active. Fluticasone propionate has shown clinical efficacy with oral administration and can be administered by inhalation or through the skin. This drug is available as a deuterated form for use in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and reaction monitoring. It also has a linear range of 10-1000 ng/mL and a quadrupole mass spectrometer detection limit of 0.1 pmol, which allows it to be used for plasma samples and reconstituted drugs.
