• Beschreibung: Fmoc-isothiocyanate is an inhibitor of the enzyme glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3) and has been shown to be a potential therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Fmoc-isothiocyanate has also been shown to inhibit the production of melanocortin, a growth factor that is associated with cancer cells, and it can be used as an antiviral agent. This compound also inhibits the production of certain inflammatory cytokines and growth factors, which are involved in autoimmune diseases such as hepatitis and trifluoroacetic acid. Fmoc-isothiocyanate inhibits the activity of antifungal agents by inhibiting their ability to bind to fungal cell walls. It is synthesized on a solid support using trifluoroacetic acid as a reagent.
