Beschreibung

Fucoxanthine is a natural product that belongs to the class of carotenoids. It can be found in the skin of brown algae and has been shown to have inhibitory effects on human liver cancer cells. Fucoxanthine inhibits messenger RNA (mRNA) synthesis by binding to the enzyme RNA polymerase II and inhibiting transcription. Fucoxanthine also possesses chemical stability and has been shown to exhibit health care properties. The inhibition of fatty acid oxidation may be responsible for its anti-cancer activities, as well as its ability to activate tumor cells. Fucoxanthine is a polyunsaturated fat cell with a dry weight of 246.2 g/mol.END>
