Beschreibung

Fmoc-8-aminocaprylic acid is a compound that belongs to the group of natural pigments and is found in the fungus Monascus purpureus. It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of growth for a number of human cancer cells, including melanoma, colon, and breast cancer cells. Fmoc-8-aminocaprylic acid also has anti-inflammatory activities and can inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines such as TNFα and IL-6. In addition, Fmoc-8-aminocaprylic acid can inhibit cell proliferation by binding to DNA, inhibiting protein synthesis, and inducing apoptosis in cells.
